Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC) is a leading heavy equipment manufacturer with extensive production capabilities in marine and offshore equipment. Its large-scale manufacturing operations involve the fabrication of heavy steel structures and components, requiring reliable plate processing equipment for demanding production conditions.
For this project, ZPMC selected an EZW43T-120x3000 7-Roll Plate Leveling Machine from EZHONG for heavy steel plate processing.
The machine is designed for levelling steel plates with a material yield strength of 485 MPa, covering plate thicknesses from 25 to 120 mm and a maximum working width of 3,000 mm.

The 4-up / 3-down roll arrangement provides multiple points of contact with the plate during the leveling process, enabling controlled correction of heawy steel plates.
With a specified total corrective force of 136,000 kN, the machine is configured for demanding heavy-plate leveling applications.
The machine accommodates plates up to 120 mm thick and 3,000 mm wide, providing the processing capacity required for large marine equipment components.
Two motorized discharge roller tables, each 10 m long, are provided for plate handling. The roller system uses PLC control and variable-speed regulation to support controlled material transfer.
Two testing platforms are provided, with each platform designed for a 40-ton load capacity, supporting inspection and testing operations for heavy plates.
From material strength and plate thickness to working width and required levelling accuracy, every heavy plate levelling application requires a properly engineered machine configuration.
